So I'm going to quote two very different people in this post, both men. I will not share who they are unless you comment because I want your opinion to be unbiased. I want you to read the comments and decide which person you would trust around your family, friends, and children. Bear with me here, I have an important point to make. In order to find these quotes, I googled each man's last name followed by the word "quotes". That's it. Then scrolled down, only using quotes from reputable sources including videos. I did not prompt Google to show me specific types of quotes. Please read all the way through, and think about which man you would feel safe around yourself or those you love. fit and flare cocktail dress

Man #1:

“And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.”

"You know, it really doesn't matter what they write as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ass. But she's got to be young and beautiful."

"It must be a pretty picture, you dropping to your knees."

"She's gotten a little bit large. I don't think she should dress like 120 pounds." Referring to a pregnant woman.

"I did try and fuck her. She was married."

"I moved on her like a bitch."

"Grab em by the pussy. You can do anything."

"You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything."

[About a 10 year old girl] "I'm going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?"

"She does have a very nice figure. I've said if [she] weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her."

[on women] "You have to treat them like shit."

"...but when I come home and dinner's not on the table, I go through the roof."

"I'm going to get the bathing suits to be smaller and the heels to be higher."

"If you’re looking for a rocket scientist, don’t tune in tonight, but if you’re looking for a really beautiful woman, you should watch.”

"All of the women on [a specific TV show] flirted with me - consciously or unconsciously. That's to be expected."

“They’ll walk up, and they’ll flip their top, and they’ll flip their panties.”

Man #2:

"With eyes fixed on the horizon and God's grace upon us, we carried forth that great gift of freedom and delivered it safely to future generations."

"We choose hope over fear. We see the future not as something out of our control, but as something we can shape for the better through concerted and collective effort."

"No matter who you are or what you look like, how you started off, or how and who you love, America is a place where you can write your own destiny."

"Every woman should be able to go about her day - to walk down the streets or ride the bus - and be safe, and be treated with respect and dignity. She deserves that."

“Above all, children need our unconditional love — whether they succeed or make mistakes; when life is easy and when life is tough."

"Why can't I just eat my waffle."

I included that last one because it was the only non-inspiring quote I could find for the second man. Now that you've read both of these, which man would you trust around those you love? Which would you leave your loved ones alone with? Which would you trust with your children?

I've been called jaded, biased, uneducated, stupid, and so on for sharing these quotes. Why? Because people want to ignore the bad and often blindly support someone who has been shown time and time again to be racist, sexist, ableist, and discriminatory towards anyone who isn't a conservative, Cis, white male. Do your research. Regardless of what you believe, you cannot argue with quotes. You cannot argue with the truth no matter how much you try. And ignoring the truth is harming people, maybe even people you love.

"The strongest thing against hateful speech is not repression; it is more speech."
